The G sedan, which joins our list for the fourth straight year, is one of the highest-rated sedans we’ve tested, with a score of 95 out of 100. It provides an appealing combination of agile handling, blistering acceleration, a refined powertrain, a fairly comfortable ride, and a high-quality, luxurious interior. The G37 is as inviting to drive on a twisty road as it is on the highway. But compromises include a snug cabin and small trunk. Rear-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is optional. Coupe and convertible versions are also available. Price: $37,225.

2010 Infiniti G37 Convertible Pricing
Infiniti is pleased to announce pricing for the 2010 Infiniti G Convertible.

The 2010 G Convertible will continue to be available in two models: G37 Convertible and G37 Convertible Sport 6MT.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices for the Infiniti G Convertible models for 2010 are as follows:
G37 Convertible $44,350
G37 Convertible Sport 6MT $44,950

Changes for 2010
The G Convertible is refreshed inside for 2010. Enhancements for 2010 include a new, predominantly white color scheme of gauges and LCD instrument display, improving both legibility and cohesiveness of design. There is also a new center console design for 7AT models and he new high gloss Maple accents interior trim available on G Sedan & G Coupe is now available on Convertible as well. Graphite Shadow is added as a new exterior color for 2010.

On G37 Convertible Sport 6MT, contents of the Premium Package are now standard, and power -folding side-view mirrors are now standard on both models. New to the Premium Package for 2010 is a Rear Sonar System. Enhancements to the Navigation Package include enhanced graphics, XM NavWeather with Real-Time weather and 3-day forecast information (in addition to XM NavTraffic). Zagat Survey restaurant reviews, streaming audio via Bluetooth and digital video playback from USB Flash Drive. The Technology Package adds rain-sensing flat blade front wipers and Advanced Climate Control System.

The G’s interior looks great. It has all of the luxury and technological features you would expect from a high line car. Wood trim, leather and a handsome analog dash clock greet you upon arrival. The clock looks a bit vintage, and is reminiscent of Maserati’s tradition of including a clock in every car. It is a nice elegant touch and really works in the G. more…

2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible Premier Edition

The 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible will make its public debut at the 2008 LA Auto Show. Following that it will go on sale in mid-2009. However for those wishing to pay a little extra for some exclusiveness can order theirs on Nov. 10.

Nissan has teamed up with Bloomingdale’s to offer the 2009 Infiniti G37Convertible Premier Edition through the company’s annual holiday catalog. The unusual marketing campaign will put just 199 Premium Editions up for purchase through the department store’s holiday catalogs mail order system. Prospective buyers can try to place their orders the old fashioned way, by telephone, starting on November 10th. The G37 convertible will also be on display at 4 selected Bloomingdale stores across the US from December 10 to January 10.

This premium edition will come with a few special features, including 19-inch wheels, a snazzy grill, and a luxury interior called Monaco Red with leather-trim and hand-crafted wood.

2009 Infiniti G37 Sport Sedan and G37 Sport Coupe

The Infiniti G premium high-performance sport sedan receives a significant upgrade under the skin in 2009 with the addition of a new VQ37VHR “VVEL” 3.7-liter V6 rated at 328 horsepower. It is mated to a new 7-speed automatic transmission or close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Now designated as the Infiniti G37 Sedan, other major changes include newly available sport brakes, a new sport 18-inch wheel design and standard Scratch Shield paint (self-healing clearcoat finish). The 2009 G37 Sedan is available in four models – G37, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT and G37x AWD.

For 2009, the G37 Coupe’s performance envelope expands with the addition of the new G37x AWD model with advanced ATESSA E-TSÔ all-wheel drive system. Also new is a 7-speed automatic transmission with Drive Sport (DS) Mode and Downshift Rev Matching (the G37 Coupe is also available with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission). The 2009 G37 Coupe is available in four models – G37, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT and G37x AWD – each with standard 330-horsepower 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 with VVEL technology.

The 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan is available in four models – G37, G37 Journey, G37x AWD and G37 Sport 6MT. In addition to the long list of standard and available equipment on the G37, G37 Journey and G37x AWD models, G35 Sport 6MT models (as well as G37 Journey and G37x models equipped with the Sport Package) add drilled aluminum pedals, sport seats with thigh extensions and driver’s power bolster adjustments, upgraded brakes (not available on G37x) and Viscous Limited Slip Differential, along with magnesium paddle shifters on automatic transmission models.
